Japanese is currently not in the list of supported software.
I was wondering what would be the steps to help making it happen.

I’ve started down this path by incorporating the Julius speech engine and the model from the Japanese dictation kit.
My problem so far has been in understanding how the pronunciation dictionary is structured. It seems to have words in Kanji and Hiragana form (separated by a +), but what are the pieces in [brackets]?
Also, Rhasspy uses breaks apart sentences by whitespace. Will this make sense for Japanese, or is something more complex needed to split a sentence into “words”?
