So first as i said, while starting to develop the HA Companion App didn’t have the features.
I am still not sure if the HA Companion App has an in-app wake word detection.
My main features are:
- in app wake word (could also add speech to text and text to speech but not planned right now)
- widget for easy access
- background service (i think the ha app supports this too)
- floating button
- support for rhasspy 2.5 (especially interesting when you already use it and e.g. have a huge set of automations/senteces build in)
- rhasspy 3/wyoming protocol (still working on it, api for other apps etc seems to be not fully stable yet and parts of it is hard to understand)
… basically just test it and use what fit’s your needs best.
