Manually Build Entities Slot

I am getting an error when running the entities script and after the past few days I’ve not been able to figure it out, I am wondering exactly how to manually build the entities slot so that I can bypass the script and just enter in the entities I actually care about.

(training fails and I get errors relating to symbols when I don’t have any, or can’t find anything wrong if using the script but it does pull in near 3000 entities/friendly names. I’ve seen suggestions that null friendly names, or special characters or just too many entities can cause the error I get)

It seems that the script automatically determines if an entity is a light or a switch for example but I don’t understand the logic on how it does that.
